Our privacy policy covers our website www.cuehaven.com. It also applies to personal information collected by us through other sources, such as through personal interactions, and telephone and other interactions for fundraising.

By making use of this website and /or providing CUE Haven with your personal information, you you are deemed to have accepted this privacy policy and all provisions provided within.

‘Personal information’ is information about an identifiable individual, company or business.

Personal information may include but is not limited to details such as names, addresses, contact phone numbers, email addresses and photographs or videos taken where individuals can be clearly identified.

We’re committed to treating personal information with care and respect, and we actively protect the privacy of all personal information collected. We are committed to working in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020.

Collection and use of personal information:

CUE Haven does not collect personal information from you unless you voluntarily choose to give it to us via our website, over email, a phone call, by signing up as a supporter or volunteer or another face-to-face communication.

While we use personal information provided to us for the purposes for which it is provided, very occasionally we may need to disclose personal information to third parties in the course of business, such as to the IRD or funding agencies where required contractually or where we are legally required.

We do not sell, provide or publicly disclose personal information to any person or entity unless specifically authorised.

How does CUE Haven keep your personal information secure?

All information is secured on databases, computers or on cloud storage services and every precaution is taken to keep personal information secure.

CUE Haven does not store your credit card details. Our donation page uses secure third party payment processors Stripe and GiveALittle, that provide communications privacy over the internet designed to prevent unauthorised parties from intercepting data communications.

How long do we keep your personal information for?

We do not keep personal information for longer than is required for the purposes for which it can be lawfully used.

When we no longer require your information, we will either delete or anonymise such information.

Your rights; updating, requesting or deleting information:

You have the right to know what information CUE Haven holds about you, and to correct it in case of error or to have it erased if you wish. These obligations are provided in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 (Principles 6 and 7).
